Arrival Story:
My best friend rescued Cinders mom from a horrible situation. When she got her she didn't know she was in heat...the neighbors dog jumped the fence, you get the picture. Cinder was one of 13 puppies(3 of which didn't make it) . Everyday my kids and I went to my friends house and helped take care of them. Mostly my kids played with them. I tried hard not to fall in love with them cause I knew it would be hard to say goodbye. I wasn't living in a place where I could have a dog. Well Cinder snuck herself right in our hearts anyway, so we moved, and brought her and her sister Pepper home. The two didn't get along later on so Pepper found a new home right down the street with my brother. When we got Rio, Cinder bonded with her instantly. They are still best buddies. Cinder is the best dog I could ever ask for, and she reminds me that sometimes we rescue the dogs, and sometimes they rescue us.
