Likes: cuddling under blankies, his green and white ball and his Teddy, he also loves wandering the neighborhood when he accidentally gets off his leash, running, chasing small animals, and car rides!

Pet-Peeves: rain and snow, plants and weeds that blow in the wind and scare him ha, bike riders and strangers, being held like a baby, being on his leash, and he absolutely hates his collar.

Favorite Toy: Teddy the stuffed white tiger, his splash football, and his stretch dog, oh and his mini tennis ball.

Favorite Food: He loves treats...Snausages and Dingo's!

Favorite Walk: He likes the tall grassy areas where he can bound like a deer and chase bunnies

Best Tricks: standing on his hind legs for long periods of time haha he looks like a chicken!, dancing, jumping, and he loves to play fetch

Arrival Story: I found this adorable little puppy at a horse and cattle auction near Odebolt, IA. A man was selling puppies in a separate stall and I couldn't pass them up. I went straight to the ATM and back and specifically asked for the runt in the bunch--he was no bigger than my hand! My parents took him in while I got my stuff together and there he met his brother from another mother, Beau. Now I finally have him back and I love him so much!

Bio: Berk is a great pet, he's potty trained and for the most part listens well, he can sit and stay, he loves to play fetch with his ball...he's a really great dog. He loves to cuddle under blankies and requires lots of attention, he's a very loving and protective dog. I always say that he's a small dog with a big bark, he likes to bark at other dogs and people... I was hoping to get Bark Busters over to my apt one day to see if I could train him not to bark but it's just not in the budget. He's a little bit of a fraidy-cat because he's so little but it doesn't take long for him to warm up to people at all. I take him to my boyfriend's parents house with us when we stay for the weekends and they have a HUGE black lab named Sophie. The first time Berk freaked out but he's used to her now and it's so hilarious to watch this tiny little dog play tug-of-war with the Ginormous Sophie! Ha ha. He even loves to steal her toys and chase her around the house. Berkley is great around older people, younger people, all kinds. I'm not sure how he is around smaller children though. He was great with my little sisters ages 10 and 11 but i'm not sure younger children would be great with him. Littler children like to tug and hold and poke and small dogs like Berk can get hurt pretty easily, they're pretty fragile creatures. Other than that he's pretty much the perfect little dog. He doesn't require much space to exercise because he's so little but he does love large spaces and being outside when he can get there. He's also crate-trained so he likes to sleep in his crate at night--i wouldn't be hesitant to let him stay out either. He doesn't chew things up unless they're his toys, like Teddy. I finally had to throw him away bc Berk finally got his insides out--but he loved that Teddy and it lasted awhile, it was almost the size of him too ha ha! He's my little boy.
