Arrival Story:
I had lived in the area for about a year and decided to get a dog, so I put a posting on Craigslist.org. I listed exactly what I wanted and was inundated with emails (90% not from my list. I didn't care breed, but wanted a female, no less that 50 lbs, spayed, 1-3 years, good around cats and kids and other dogs, and could be left alone for a normal work day). A woman gave me a picture of Georgia and she was met all my requirements (except spayed but she came form the pound that way, a little oops that I soon corrected). The woman and her son brought her over and we agreed on a week trial. I wasn't sure if I could handle her but we clicked and we have been best friend ever since.
Bio:
I love raising a dog in the city. You have to spend so much time with them and be with them, not sticking them in a backyard to just sit there. They are weaved into your life and you can't put them on the sidelines. She's my third leg!

I was not feeling well all week and Mama tried as best she could to help me. We have been out of work for some time, and she could only afford some money for the vet. I put on my brave face and it helped. She was very attentive.
But I was old, and I was tired, and a surprise convulsion did me in. Mama was there apologizing that she could not help me. I don't blame her. I went at home with my head in her hands. She was kissing on me and telling me she loved me. It was the best.
Mama, don't blame yourself. I loved you tons! I know it will hurt, but be brave and strong like I know you to be. When the time is right, you will find another furry companion.
Ill never be too far away.

Today I ate something stange on the ground during my morning walk. Mamma was cheesed. I dont know why, I do it all the time. Mostly when shes not looking, tho.
We went to my favorite cafe and pet store where I met this old little doggie who barked at me in the toy aisle, so I barked back. Mamma called me a "Goober Face" and we left with a big ol' bag of dog food.
Welp thats it, Im gonna go take a nap in the sunshine now.
