New World

Cute Story

I got to go to the vet today. That wasn't too bad, no shots! I am going for a plane ride and needed a certificate to say I was healthy.

Good news! I set up on of my littermates! He got scratched in the eye and so is blind in one eye...and the breeder couldn't sell him so she was giveing him away for free. My mom told her landlord about him...and she wanted him!!! But, in a twist of fate, the landlady's sister is also blind in one eye! The sister fell in love...saying that they would be whole together! Isn't that the cutest story you have ever heard! Most people wouldn't want a half blind dog but this lady was perfect because she was too! RUFF!

I'm going to puppy kindergarden tonight, mom says I need to learn some manners. WEll, we'll see about that!

getting leggy

Everyone at mom's work loves me. She works at the hospital, and they come out to see me on her breaks and ask about me all the time. I love all the extra cuddles I get and the grass and pinecones smell so good out there! There was a old dog I met, he was smaller than me, but I was kinda afraid of him since his teeth stuck out all funny!

Yesterday, I went to a coffee shop and met a yellow lab puppy and we wanted to play! But our mom's told us that we couldn't ruff house in a nice resteraunt and we had to just lay on the floor. How boreing! But I discovered it was ok to run around and meet other humans, so that's what I did! My mom got to meet all sorts of interesting new people that I introduced her too in there. They all told me I was very beautiful.

I'm also getting a lot taller!! When I run really fast I don't trip nearly so often! That was getting annoying after all. Today I get to go to doggie play hour and I'm really excited about that...

New Home

I just came home a week ago! I went from living in a barn to living in an appartment! Wow what a difference! Today, I got my second set of shots. Mom tried to do it but it hurt too much and I couldn't hold still. So I went back to the barn where the lady who raised me knew all about it! Then later today I went to REI downtown, and I made all the people swoon over how cute I am! I kissed and cuddled lots.
