Arrival Story:
I saw JD at the County shelter and it was love at first sight. He was skinny and looked really bummed out to be couped up in that small kennel. The shelter people told me only that he was a stray. I didn't know exactly what I was looking for in a dog, but I knew he was it. He's goofy, smiles a lot, loves everybody, is always ready to play, and just has a heart of gold. So I went straight to the front desk and said I was ready to adopt. But the lady informed me that somebody else had already put in a request to adopt him. This was not possible because that's my dog! So I sat down in the waiting area to wait until I saw that JD was actually adopted. Well, I probably made them uncomfortable because after about 40 minutes, the shelter lady told me that JD was in back waiting to play with me. Oh, happy day!
Bio:
JD has canine ADHD and most people only see the super hyper excited side of him. But he's actually quite a calm cuddle bug when he gets settled down.
