Arrival Story:
Sasha was adopted from an all breed dog rescue in Albany in the summer of 2003. We drove 2 hours to an event held by the rescue to meet and greet available dogs. Having read her description on the rescue's website, she seemed like the perfect companion for us. When we first saw her prancing walk and beautiful smile, we knew that she was the dog for us. She has been a loving and devoted family member since that day.
Bio:
Sasha was nervous and shy after leaving rescue. She would bark at other dogs and panic when we left the house. She didn't seem interested in toys or doing tricks. We began socializing Sasha by bringing her to the dog park and introducing her to other dogs. At the dogpark, we learned that she was eager to please and loved to play on agility equipment. We began basic training with Sasha.
Now, Sasha has completely come out of her shell. She loves to play with other dogs, especially her brother Sunny. Sunny has helped Sasha trust other dogs. They love to lay near each other and give each other kisses.
