The competition.....I gotcha!

So mama bought my dad a stuffed doggie for Valentines Day...of course on sale after Valentines day because Mama and Papa don't submit to "The Man" and his made up holidays. Anyhow....so I've had my eye on that pup...trying to figure out it's evil plot to take my place. Finally last week it made it's move...it was sitting on top of the dresser and fell off onto my mama's feet one morning before her shower. It was early so mama didn't bother with it. Whew! What a relief. I know she loves on me no matter how early it is. Then I was on the attack....I got the pup into my grasps and now half of the inside of it is on the floor, it's missing a chunk out of it's butt and head. Yippee!!!! No worries about that thing.

It's been a while....

So my mama and papa have been loving on me so much lately that I forget to write to update everyone. Here's an update on my life as a floppy eared girl....

There have been these strange dirty smelly guys coming over to our house everyday for the last couple of weeks. I don't like them at all but mama and papa say they're fixing the house, so that's good but I don't like that they take away from my morning cuddle time with papa. They make a bunch of loud noises and it really upsets me.

I've become friends with Mama and Papa's friend Steve. He's nice to me and always gives me cookies. How could I not like him? He even lets me lay in his lap when we're in the car together. He likes to sleep as much as I do...that's a good hobby to bond over. :)

Papa attempted tot take me to the beach one day while the smelly guys were there. I didn't like the way the sand felt. It was kind of yucky. We also met a new friend, Pula. Pula was nice and chased me around the park but I didn't know I was supposed to chase her too. Oh well. Mama and Papa are both very proud that I was so good around another dog. I haven't really been friendly with any dogs in the neighborhood or anything. I haven't been bad either. Papa was happy to see me having fun with another dog.

My dog nails have been getting long so mama and papa bought me a pedipaws. Mama said that she hoped it could make my dew claw not so dangerous. Papa got me use to the sound but i didn't really like the vibration. He was able to do both of my front paws and the little machine worked good but I still didn't like it.

Things have been so good with mama and papa. They don't want to let anyone else adopt me because they love me. Recently mama and papa have been saying that I have really become an adoptable girl. I think they mean, I'm so much better behaved than I was before. I don't pee or poop in the house anymore. They've left me at home by myself a few times and as long as it's not for whole day, I'm good. I usually just sleep. I have even slept on the floor a couple of times. It freaked mama out because I was squeezed in between her and papa. She said that I've even began to snuggle feet and she loves that.

Over the weekend Mama and Papa took me to the park and while mama practiced hitting the pink ball with a big metal net looking thing...mama called it Tennis, I chased one of the pink balls and actually learned how to play fetch. They were so proud of me. I got to eat a bunch of cookies.

Well there's my floppy girl update. I hope everyone is getting lots of love and petting. :) It's almost summer, so stay in the shade or AC, which ever one you have and drink lots of water to stay hydrated.

The BEST day EVER!!!!!!

Yesterday Mommy. Papa and I got in the car and went on a drive. We went to this place that looked super familar. I wasn't sure how I knew it but once I got there, I remembered that use to be my home with my favorite Bully Pals. I got to see J & J. They're awesome!!! They love me so much. It felt like old times. Lots of licking and lots of love. I got to see Moxie and Grommit. We were able to all play and have fun. I was able to get loved on by 4 humans that I love. It was great. Moxie got to get love from my new people. Mommy had fun playing Tug of War with Mox. And I know for a fact that Mommy and Papa had fun relaxing while I got to play. Mommy said she loved seeing me play with other doggies. Mox and I ran up and down the stairs sniffing each other and just having fun. We went out on the deck and did more sniffing and playing. We jumped around on the couch and went from person to person to get love. I knew exactly where the water bowls were and just LOVED being there. Mommy and Papa promised we'd visit again soon, and more often. I hope we'll stay for longer too. Papa also said that they know that they could leave me with J & J if they ever went out of town or on a honeymoon. I don't know what a honeymoon is but they can leave me with my favorite Bully Pals and J & J ANYTIME! I'll be super tired by the time they come get me. I hope everyone has wonderful humans and Bully pals like I do!!!!
