On Friday of last week, mom had one of these goingnutsdays.. It was raining, which is ok, but we had no car since dad needed it to get to work. His car has no roof! In the rain it's kind of a swimming pool on wheels. Not a bad, but somehow mom and dad don't find it as exciting the way we do. Mom decided to do some house cleaning and laundry and stuff. We even went on a walk, which was kind of wet but fine.
Then, in the afternoon, mom did not want to be home anymore. We live in a nice little town, but public transportation totally sucks! Getting into SF would have been an ordeal, so we did not even make an attempt. Then all of a sudden mom said "let's go!" and off we went to the bus station. Sure enough mom's brand new jacket was not waterproof. Mine is. Mom got soaking wet, I did not. The bus was late, which could have resulted in us missing the train! We ran like maniacs only to find out that no train was moving. There was something with the bridge and some inspector had to come out to inspect it. That meant we had to wait at the train station with many other people, who were quite unhappy about the whole thing.. In the mean time mom gave her jacket to a homeless person. He loved it! Good :o)
At least one train made it to our station, so we could get on and wait there.
It took a little while, but at some point we started moving. The trip was long. Eventually we ended up at our friend Becker's house.
How cool is that? The humans watched a vampire movie, ate, and Becker and I hung out in the house. I enjoyed watching the cat, who is very social. I think they are getting ready for some Breaking Dawn.. whatever that it. They say that they will watch more vampire movies to get into the "spirit"?
*Scratching my head*
Later dad came to pick us up and ate some of the delicious vegan Doughnuts Becker's mom bought :o) Nice.
Back home Jojo was happy to see us and we went to bed right away.
Next day, Saturday was an exciting day. Mom, Jojo and I drove to campus and went on a really neat 3 hour walk. It was football day! Campus was so full of people and cars and tailgating equipment, you would not believe. People enjoyed saying hi to us, we even got a piece of a steak from a guy, who was doing a BBQ. How neat. He was from Oregon, but well.
After our marathon walk we met up with dad, had a nice dinner and then went to the game. Mom and dad went. Jojo and I stayed in the car. The parking guy gave us a really cool spot right next to him!
Stanford lost, but the game was nice nevertheless, dad said.
We drove home after the game. Dad had to stay a little longer, cause he still had to work *sigh*
Next day we met up with one of our friends for breakfast. It was nice hanging out with her. After our breakfast we gave her a lift home and spent our day at the GGP. Our walk was long and fun. Mom and dad did some fun stuff with us, which we really enjoyed.
On the way home we had to do some shopping. CostCo first. Jojo was a little disappointed that she did not get to go. She says that CostCo is one of her favorite stores. Next time..
Then we walked over to Trader Joe's. People are really nice there. I like TJ's.
Finally we got home and dinner. Jojo had to work hard to get her food. Her dinner is about 15 min long. For every 5 kibbles she has to work her butt off. But she likes it. In the beginning it was hard for her, because she gulps her food down normally. Now, since mom varies, it's more fun she says.
I eat super slow anyways.
Today was a Jojo and Jolanda day. We spent most of the day at the beach and at the Philz cafe. Just the way we like it :o) Nice nice..
Tomorrow we will have to run some errands, but that's cool.
We are tired now. Jojo is already asleep and I will be soon!
Night night, sleep tight.
