Buford is the result of ships passing in the night. The ships being an english mastiff female and neighbor's wandering bloodhound. Both are registered dogs. They really had no idea what they had. To be fair, neither did we.

There are only 3 groups of living creatures in this world (Bufinator 2008). They are as follows: "family" (self explaned plus a few close friends), "deer" (all living creatures that do not sport feathers or are not in the "family", "chickens" (any feathered creature). If something doesen't fit into one of the above catagories but ACTS LIKE IT DOES (dolls that dance and sing or remote controlled cars) it qualifies as a "deer" by default and the Bufinator will dispatch it accordingly, much as he would love to do to a "tree deer" (squirrel) if he could catch one, or a "little deer" (bug). He also loves to chase "water chickens" (ducks) back into the lake.
