My sister wanted a dog when she was little, so for a while they looked for the right breed for them. They decided the Sheltie was probably our best bet. When we went to the kennel, we had decided it would be better to have only one dog. So we looked at some dogs, and instantly, at the very moment I saw Sandy our eyes locked. It was like love at first sight. I said, " Mommy Mommy over here! what about this one?" and she said "Awww... honey it's adorable! Okay, let's buy this one." then I sang " I got me a puppy oh... Yeah!". But then the breeder had looked over here and said " She is a cutie", but you might want to talk to Kim, she said. "who's Kim?" I asked. Kim is the owner of Bobby. "KIM!" she yelled. "yes?" Kim answered, "I see you are looking to buy This cutie pie. "are you going to get her fixed?" Kim asked. "YES!" we replied. " Would you fix Bobby if you bought her?" "yes we would" we said. (leaving) "i'll be right back" Kim said. (coming back with another dog along with our puppy) " You see, the problem is, with this particular puppy-- " Yes" my sister interrupted. " If you buy this puppy you have to buy Bobby and you have to get them both spayed". [for more of Sandy's story read her Diary].

Okay, where was I... ah! I remember! After Kim told us we had to get them both spayed, we asked why. " Bobby was a show dog until she wasn't eligable anymore because she could'nt have puppies, every time she had a litter of puppies, it was only a matter of days until they died of poor health, I did'nt have the money to get her spayed, so I volunteered to make Bobby like a " second mother" to puppies that missed their parents, Sandy happened to be one of those puppies, when I saw Sandy, I thought that Bobby could be just like her mother, well as soon as they saw each other, it's like they had already met. They bonded so fast! Now they have grown such a strong bond, they can't be apart for more than a minute." Kim replied. We had brought both Sandy and Bobby home, and they acted like moving homes was like a whole new adventure! They were having the time of thei lives their first year. I hope you enjoyed Sandy's story!
