My parents keep talking about my birthday, and I'm not entirely sure what this means exactly but I do know is that my Mommy and Daddy have been talking about getting all of my pals together at my favorite dog park to celebrate this "birthday." The thing that excites me about this whole thing is that my Auntie and Grandma keep asking me what presents I want for my birthday. This is awesome, because being a pug I naturally love presents. Mommy and Daddy, however, block my opportunities to respond to these questions every single time. This is how it goes:
Auntie: What does Noodles want for her birthday?
Me: I want...
Mommy and Daddy: She wants love and attention, and all of her pals to show up for her party!
Um, Mommy? Daddy? That's a given, but I want presents too!!!
Anyways, I can't wait to have this "birthday party" thing, because they keep telling me that I will get cake, and stuff too. I'm really not spoiled. promise! I just love the attention. Mommy and Daddy call me spoiled all the time, but then they do alot of the spoiling, so who's to blame? It's great to be a pug...
Right now I'm visiting Grandma and Grandpa's house and no one is paying me any attention. Daddy is typing away on the computer while watching a Tsunami documentary on tv with Auntie Beanie and Grandpa...and they get mad when I explore around! Just now I was following an interesting smell behind the tv set, and they got upset because I was going back there! Well, maybe if they would play with me we wouldn't have this problem!
I miss the Cubbers, and I can't wait to see him again. Mommy told me that he will be at my party this weekend, so I'm really excited. That's what I'm looking forward to most, playing with all of my puggie friends...
Till next time, smell ya later!

I realize that it's been a while since my last post, and since people keep telling me how much they enjoy my antics (I don't get it, I'm just being me!), I suppose I should make the effort to stay on top of my Noodle Blog...
So Camping...I had no idea what to expect when Mommy and Daddy kept talking about this, but it sounded like fun. The only thing that worried me was that Mommy seemed to be a little hesitant about going. Why? I'm not sure, but Daddy was super excited. He's too much sometimes...
Anyways, we went to "camp" in this wooded area with tons of trees. It was pretty cool! Cold, but cool! Daddy and Mommy made us a home in a "tent," which I was a little skeptical about because it didn't look like the walls would be thick enough to keep us warm, but Daddy put together two bags to sleep in, which made a bigger bag, and it was super warm. My favorite time during camping was spent lounging in front of the fire that Daddy and Uncle Ryan made each night. It was cool!
I made some new friends called Raccoons, but Mommy and Daddy scolded me, forbidding me from playing with the Raccoons. Why? I don't know. Those guys were really smart!! I learned alot from watching them! One night, Mommy and Daddy were eating food with Uncle Ryan and Auntie Beanie, and I was getting very frustrated with them because they were keeping the food secret from us. It was actually more like a dessert because we had all eaten a nice meal earlier that evening. They wouldn't share and they wouldn't tell us what it was! They just kept asking each other if they wanted "some more," or "some mores," or something like that. They would put these white balls on sticks and lower them into the fire, and they would glow orange until they blew the orange out. Then they would make a sandwich and go "mmmmm! yummm!"
Of course, they wouldn't share, so all of us pugs were left to wonder...
Meanwhile, the Raccoons showed up, and they wanted "some mores" too, so they started to climb up a tree near us. This caught the attention of Uncle Ryan and Daddy, while Mommy and Auntie Beanie stayed comfortably by the fire...While Daddy and Uncle Ryan were destracted, another Raccoon snuck up behind us and snatched some of the chocolate off of the table! Those guys stole some of my best ninja moves!!!
I wanted to go swap moves with these guys, but Mommy and Daddy weren't having it. Bummer!
Maybe next time.
We went to the beach one day while camping and we had a blast. We are all beach pugs at heart, so this was an especially welcomed treat!
After camping, Mommy and Daddy started looking into dog parks for me to visit on occassion. We go on walkies, but Mommy really loves to see me run really fast without a leash, so she wanted to find a place that would let me go nuts. (I told her Grandma and Grandpa's yard is fun too and she agreed!)
She found a group of other pugs that meet up at a dog park near us, and we've been going to those meet ups each month. I've made a bunch of new pug buddies and its been super fun so far! Hopefully Sophie, PeOni, Taz, and Tyke will join me at these meetups from now on.
Ok, now that you're up to speed, I'll sign off!

Well there's lots and lots to catch you all up on, so I'll try to do this quick because my Mommy and Daddy are taking me camping this weekend. I don't know what this is yet, but they mentioned it along with the beach, and I LOVE the beach, so I'm sure that it will be fun!
Sandy Claws came and went, and although I never actually met the fellow, he did leave me quite a few gifts under that lazy tree (FINALLY having that tree hang around paid off!)
I spent a weekend visiting my buddie Cubbie (cubbersomes) a few weekends back. It was so good to see him again, and his big sis' Beltaine is so cool! I love playing with those two.
I just thought I would check in to let everyone know that things are going well. I'll have a full update of my adventures while camping when I get back, if I can wrestle the computer away from Daddy again! Hahahaha!
Take Care,
Noodle-vanish!
