 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: September 5th 2006
Arrival Story: Tyson's owner had a friend watch over him for her while she found a new home. She never came back to get him, her friend couldn't get a hold of her, so after 3 months of trying her friend said enough was enough, she just couldn't afford to keep him any more. So he came to live with us at our rescue. Ty is a great lovable dog, he does need to put on some weight though. I think with us de-worming him and getting him on some good food he will be just fine. He is a very laid back sort of dog, loves to go out and play, but also loves that quite time next to his owner or his playmates. He is housebroken, and spends most of his days in the house. He will not go to any one who wishes to have an outside dog. All our rescues are strictly meant for indoor dogs. Ty is still young enough to give you a good amount of his time, but old enough that you don't have to go through those frantic puppy training days. Please if you would consider our beautiful TyTy as your new best friend. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Bio: Tyson came to us not having his shots, nor de-wormed in who knows how long. Nor was he fixed, and he still has a sweet temperament. But we have it where we must have them fixed before we let them go to their new homes. So he will have all that taken care of before he goes anywhere.

We have found that Tyson is a great lover of a dog. He will just sit and stare at you till you break down and give him attention. LOL He is a little shy about you going for his head. But loves to have you pet his body. He came to us pretty malnourished, he was the bottom of the totem pole in the dog pack that he was in at his old house. So he had to wait for them all to eat before he could. So he just didn't get his fair share. We don’t have that issues here, we always feed our dogs separate, so there is no issues with this sort of thing. So he is enjoying eating all his food, though I do find he still try's to bolt it down poor thing. He is afraid of another dog coming to take it away from him. But that will go away as time goes on and he sees that he has nothing to worry about. He already is starting to fill out, he just needed some loving care. He loves to take what I call the puppy stance where they will stick their butt up in the air and their front legs are spread out in front of them and their head is bowed. It is a playful stance and he will bark and jump around asking for me to play with him. It is just too cute. The greatest thing about Tyson is he isn't your normal Boxer, he is only 2 years old, and he has great manners. He doesn't over bark, only in play have I heard him bark. And of course when someone comes over. But he isn't an over barker, and he is not in your face with so much energy that you don't know what to do with them. He is laid back and loves it when you pay attention to him, but when you can't, he will just find a cozy place to lay down and will wait till you do have some time. He is house broke, but last night we found out that he can only hold it for so long and then he has to go. I took them out for their last potty break before bed. And then went to bed around 10:30 last night, and by 8 am the next morning he had gone potty in the house. So I know better to make him wait that long. His owner said that when she first got him he went a couple of times in the house till he settled in and they learned his needs. So I guess that is what is happening here. We do warn anyone who adopts from us that there is going to be a certain period where the dog is learning what he can and can't do at his new home, and you are learning what his needs are too. So this is only something that you should expect. He is such a love and wants to do what you want him to so badly that I can't see this as a problem, we are just learning from each other is all. Well until next time.
