Wind blowing in her ears, people poking her kennel while she's hard at work getting her beauty sleep, raccoons playing in HER backyard, delayed meal service
Favorite Toy:
As a puppy Mol loved Kongs filled with peanut butter, and a rubber gossip newspaper called "The Doggy News". As a mature lady, however, she prefers more sophisticated pursuits such as sunbathing and acting as live-in food inspector
Favorite Food:
She never turns her nose up at kibble, but...danishes, rice cakes, raw eggs, lettuce leaves, peppers, baby carrots (anything but mushrooms, really...this gal's no picky eater!)
Favorite Walk:
Molly loves w-a-l-k-s so much she can even understand it when someone spells it, and her little (oh-so-soft!) ears perk right up at the jangle of the leash. Location is unimportant, distance is irrelevant...companion with treats is essential.
Best Tricks:
What can this wonder-dog NOT do? Her best trick is, when prompted "would you rather be married or dead?", to flip right onto her back in insta-rigor-mortis pose...it's a hit at parties...
Arrival Story:
When I was a young gal I yearned for a pooch. Retrievers seemed right up my alley, so I gently conned my parents into agreeing to a Lab over the previously favoured Maltese. For my birthday I got a card saying that if I read a certain number of dog care books, earned money to buy leash/bowl etc., that for my *next* birthday I would get a puppy. 365 days was a long wait...but man, was Molster worth it...
Bio:
Molly is the fine offspring (one of three puppies and the only girl!) of Captivating Carmen and Fargo. She learned early on that she had to defend herself against her fiesty brothers and spent her first 8 wks. living at Amaranth Kennels in Shelburne, Ontario.
