Arrival Story:
She had apparently gotten out of her original home, and was picked up by someone who, instead of trying to find her owner, stuck her in their back yard with no food, water, or shelter. Animal control was contacted and she was surrendered. She was then put on the list to be euthanized because of a bad eye problem, and bad skin, and age. A dog rescue that my clinic works with, who takes older, small dogs, ended up with her. She was not able to do much with her, because she works solely on donations, and I felt bad for the dog. I told the rescue that I would foster the dog, and she's been here ever since.
Bio:
Once she was in a setting with only a few dogs, we realized she is almost blind, completely deaf, has cushing's disease, and chronic ear problems, along with her scarred eye.
She was recently set free of all her problems and is with our baby Pandora in heaven. She is no longer in pain and we hope she can be comfortable and happy. She will be missed.
