The Big Day

I got "spayed" today. I did very well. I am not afraid of the Vet at all and was actually just excited to be there and see the doggies and kitties. They were very nice to me and did some post operative blood work to check for problems, gave me a bordetella vaccine (I had a mild case of kennel cough when I was younger though) and then of course, the surgery. I was very happy to see Mommy again and was a bit out of it from the anesthesia combined with pain medicine and was excessively drooling *blush*. I tried to stay awake for as long as I could at home because we had visitors, but as soon as they left I was out like a light. My family is very anxious for my speedy recovery, but I'm really liking all this extra attention ;)

Ben

We have a new family member as of yesterday! I even got to go pick him up and meet lots of dogs. Ben and I play lots... At first, I was a little scared of him when he got right up in my face and made my lil puppy growl, but now we are used to each other and are just goofballs. He has sooo much more energy than me and wears me out though. He barely even sleeps and is like the energizer bunny. My puppy legs get tired long before he does. Mommy says he'll calm down after he gets more exercise and isn't so anxious being in a new place and all. He also has to go get snipped in two weeks I'm told. I don't know what that is exactly, but I know it involves the vet so it can't be great. Anyway, I'm doing just fine. I had to go to the vet and get treated for ringworm last month... eeek. We're hoping since mine is healing now that Ben won't get it also. My parents are going to look for costumes for me and Ben today :) *whispers* I don't know how they think they will be able to put one on him when it took them an hour to get a new collar on him when he was hopping all over the place *snickers*

Movin' out.

I just moved to a new place. It's smaller than where I was before, but Daddy says it's just "temporary". I have some new pictures taken here, but Mommy hasn't been able to upload them yet. Unfortunately, there are no cats here for me to chase :( There are some other dogs that the neighbors have, but I haven't been able to get close yet to meet them. I think it's pretty boring here so Mommy is talking about getting me a playmate when we leave here so I won't be the only dog and wanting to tear everything up. My toys just don't cut it. :)
Also today I am officially 3 months old!! I know it's not a huge milestone, but I'm looking forward to more treats.

Ouch!

I got stung by a bee for the very first time today when I was out to potty. That's surprising I guess since I'm always trying to eat them. It was on my leg... Thankfully not my precious face ;) Mom got the stinger out which was fine, but then tried to put an ice pack on it and I wasn't having that! I slept practically the whole day from the whole ordeal. I was sure to make up for it tonight though and played for a good while. I think I might keep everyone up late tonight... muahaha :)

First night away from Mommy.

Last night, there was a big argument at the house(between us humans, she just sat there chewing on her bone) and Cookie went to spend the night with Daddy Keith. It was our first night apart and of course made me cry. I've been with her every second since I got her and it was rough on us both. Keith said she did fine last night other than all the whining:( I'm very worried about her, because I can't be there to watch her. We'll both be moving there soon so I guess it is a good thing for her to get to see the place and really just to get away for a bit. She's coming back tonight...the sooner the better.

Planning Halloween. (Early)

I wasn't planning on my first entry to be about Halloween, but it's a good start. Mommy apparently wants me to dress-up for Halloween and is suggesting different outfits... Little does she know that I will just tear any of them up. She has mentioned a cow, piggy, (what's she trying to say?) and a princess. I'm not quite sure the point of me dressing up since I can't have actual candy, but I am expecting her to take bunches of pictures of me. She says I'm very photogenic :) She said I might get to go with my cousin, Ethan, when he goes trick or treating and she'll just buy me lots of doggie treats. This is my first holiday, but if all include me getting treats then I'll dress as a clown and juggle if need be. :) Momma has mentioned a dog named Max coming over soon for a playdate. She said he's a lot bigger than me and is kind of worried he might accidentally hurt me, but she should know it would be the other way around. BOL Until later...
