Arrival Story:
We picked him out from a bunch of Yorkie puppies at the breeder when he was 6 weeks old. He was the one puppy who wasn't shaking/shivering excessively when we held him. We couldn't bring him home with us right away since he was too young then... After a long wait, finally we brought him home when he was 11 weeks old, the cutest little guy, weight about 2.4 lbs then... The day we picked him up, we were warned by the breeder that he was the most active puppy among all the litters and that he would rather play than eat! No doubt, he is squirmy and can't stay still for even a minute! But he's very cute, friendly, not shy, loves to play, likes to meet people or other dogs and we love him to death!
Bio:
At 6 months old, Kirby weights close to 5 lbs. Very playful/hyper... he's potty-trained though...
At 6.5 months old, Kirby was neutered... and he also got 17 teeth pulled out (yeah, 17!!! None of his teeth fell off although he has like a million chewing toys and bones). He recovered very quickly though, what a good boy!
At 9 months old, Kirby is all grown up now... weights about 5.5 lbs. Still very naughty... :-)
Kirby's birthday is June 14th, he will be one-year old!!! How excited!

Kirby is going to doggy day care once a week, I think he's probably the smallest dog there, but he's doing okay... he was kinda scared the first few visits, now I think he likes going there... He is pretty good with big dogs and other small dogs, preferably hanging out with other dogs his size though... he won't bark at them or anything, he would politely let the others sniff at him or lick him. He has lots of fun there despite his size!
