Arrival Story: We adopted Ginger from a kill shelter in Georgia. She was on her last day so I faxed in the application for her and had a lady down there get her out of the shelter and to a vet for her spaying and shots. She was then transported up to me by some wonderful volunteers.
Bio: When we first got Ginger, she was very ill. Her spay incision had become infected, she had hookworms and whipworms. She also had kennel cough and pnuemonia. In addition, she was heartworm positivie. Well, after about 3 months of treatment, she is 100% now and is very healthly. She is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met. She loves every person she meets. I'm not sure if she is a purebred lab but it seems like she is. It doesn't matter if she isn't though because I love her no matter what.
