Arrival Story:
Brooke is a rescue dog. She belonged to a lady who's son works for animal control and he contacted the rescue I volunteer with when his mom couldn't take care of her. Brooke came to me as a foster dog, but soon became a foster failure. My husband is allergic to dogs, but since Brooke doesn't shed, she got to stay. I have seen dogs like her (Bassetoodles) online for $1500+ and down in my neck of the woods, she was just a mutt who needed a home and she was "FREE"!

Bio:
I can't imagine not having her around. She is Basset through and through. Stubborn and very independent. She is a velcro dog though and loves to be right by your side. She's just wonderful and really fits in well with our family.
