Arrival Story:
I got Callie to be a friend for our 12 year old rescue beardie, Balderdash. Well....Callie decided she would be the alpha female and we had quite a time of it. She was the most energetic and destructive puppy I'd ever had. Her nickname became "Evil". I even considered returning her to Brampton Beardies. She was a real biter, I still have scars to prove it! After six months, I decided we needed an alpha male to put Callie in her place, ha! ha! That's when Robert Archibald came to live with me. After about six months, he came into his own with size and weight and put that "evil" Callie into her place. Unfortunately, Balderdash died at the age of 13, but had Archie as a really good buddy. Callie is now 4 years old and still is full of piss and vinegar, but has gotten to be a sweet girl! Thank God!
