Arrival Story:
We were broken into for the third time and I decided that I wanted a bigger dog (I had an 18 pounder and a 24 pounder) to make someone think twice about breaking in again. We also got an alarm. And I wanted a dog that I could walk with and would make me less of a target. Indy was just around 40 pounds. She was the happiest dog at the pound. She was kenneled with another dog so I knew she was not dog aggressive.

Bio:
Her name was "Strawberry" when I got her. Well I read a book in the 70s that said a "Strawberry" was the same as what we now call "Crack Hos" so I didn't want to call her that. I remembered Sean Connery saying in The Last Crusade that Indiana Jone's real name was Henry and that Indiana was his dog's name. And somebody said Indiana was a great dog. Anyway, I knew she'd be a great dog so I named her Indiana.
