Bo is not fond of my neighbor's inflatable S.F. 49er doll, but we think that's just 'cause Bo's a Raider fan.

Favorite Toy:
Bo loves balls and his toy tire or Kong filled with treats. However, his most favorite toys are stuffed, squeak toys, but unfortunately they don't last long in his presence.

Favorite Food:
Everything, including celery, pears, and popcorn.

Favorite Walk:
Around Lake Temescal or off-leash hiking at the Oakland Regional parks.

Best Tricks:
Hanging out in the kitchen and conning his dad into giving him endless snacks.

Arrival Story:
Left in the night drop box of the city shelter, Bo was malnourished and unable to walk properly because one of his rear kneecaps was 'loose'. Tina and the wonderful staff at Citizen Canine gave him quality nourishment and lots of TLC. After gaining about 20 lbs, Bo was ready for a foster home, and we were lucky to be chosen. He is probably one of the best dogs we ever met, allowing us to help him through knee surgery, infections, and a long rehabilitation. Always deferring to resident dog, Maya, and always loving 2nd resident dog, Rosa, he fit it in perfectly and became our dog #3.

Bio:
Bo is a character with an absolutely sweet nature. He once collected almost $100 at a fundraiser for animals, by walking through the audience holding a trick-or-treat container. He has done very well with obedience training. In April 2005, Bo passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test and made his family very proud!
