Any attention from anyone, especially pets and scratches. She willingly lays on the floor for nail-clippings because, well, it's undivided attention. She also loves obedience training.

Noisy, big delivery trucks and that evil doorbell.

Any stuffed animal - with squeaker please!

Sashimi, even though she's only tried it twice, and unfortunately, cat poop

In town where people are out shopping or off-leash at the Oakland Regional parks.
Best Tricks:
moonwalking (yes, the moonwalk Michael Jackson made famous), turning in a circle, catching a ball, and shaking hands with alternating paws.
Arrival Story:
Rosa ended up in the city shelter and was put in a foster home with 4 other dogs. One day, they all got out and she was hit by a car, resulting in a fractured pelvis. We then became her new foster home, where our resident, aloof, cat-like dog, Maya, decided that Rosa should stay. We were taken in by her incredibly sweet nature, so an adoption and lotsa training followed.
Bio:
Rosa is a shy girl, known for her sweet and devoted nature. Over the years, she has become the neighborhood children's favorite dog. She passed her Canine Good Citizen exam and completed an SPCA program for pet-assisted therapy dogs. She visits a local retirement residence in Oakland, Calif. and a library where grammar school children read to her. She loves her jobs.
