Arrival Story: Well, I recently decided that I wanted another addition to the family. So, I started looking around for new pitbulls puppy. I've owned the breed my entire life and wanted another one since we have one already. I went to the shelter and walked the lines of kennels. It was quite depressing. The cages were filled with the saddest looking pitbulls I've ever seen. It made me suddenly wish I was rich and could take them all home. But I couldn't. Soon enough, I came to a cage that had a ball of red curled up in the corner. I called to Honey many times but she merely lifted her head and looked at me. It was obvious that this baby had a rough start to life. So, I got a leash and took her from the cage then took her into the socializing room. Almost instantly, she nuzzled her head on my stomach and looked at me with those beautiful eyes. I was done for.Hesitantly, I put her back in the cage and made the appointment to have her spayed so I could take her home. Now she lives with my family and I and is as happy as could be.
