She was just shy 2 months of her 7th Birthday. We miss her soooo much and it hurts so much. Dixie was the best dog in the world and never can be replaced.
My husband and I became the proud owners of Dixie while searching for a rescue mastiff when a breeder contacted us. Dixie was unable to have babies(she chased all the boys away) and needed a family atmosphere to be a part of. Her real mommy Nanci(a mastiff breeder) loved her dearly but knew she needed more. She let us take Dixie home to give her a try and she bonded with us immediatley. She loves her new home and her real Mommy is happy to see her so adjusted and happy. We are so very Thankful to her real Mommy for giving us a chance and letting us love such a beautiful animal. My husband has had mastiffs in the past and I had never been around them. Now I know I will never choose another type of dog. We will always want a mastiff as a part of our family. In our opinion, it is the only dog that is completly different than any other dog out there. We love her so much. Bio: Dixie is a Champion English Mastiff and has won many awards in her early days when her breeder Nanci owned her.
