Well on 2/7 Itza and Chichen went outside to do their business. Fifteen minutes after I let them out the backyard, Chichen was barking in distress. To my dismay, i could only see Chichen and Itza was no where in sight. i let Chichen inside the house and went on a search for Itza. I looked everywhere and couldn't find her. I made a flyer and started posting signs anywhere and everywhere. I talked to people from 8-80, i didn't care if they lived in the neighborhood or my cashier at Kroger. Registered her on every website for lost pets, had a friend fax vet clinics and checked animal shelters and the pound. I even placed a classified ad in the Commercial Appeal. Hung up flyers until one or two in the morning I haven't seen her in three days and I was worried sick! ( we missed wheaty so much i retired the lava, for like 3 days). So she went missing at 2:30 on saturday today i GOT HER BACK.(Tuesday 2/10) This is Itza's story. At or around 2:30 she was picked up and taken to a Petco, and it just so happened that SAVE1PET, a non profit rescue group, was doing an adoption day. They saw Itza and took her in, upon her arrival the people told the rescuers that there was also a boy dog but they couldn't get him because he was biting at them. (VERY GOOD CHICHEN) Then today I get a phone call from a stranger and he said that I should go get the paper because right next to my lost ad was a found ad matching the description of my doggy. I picked up a copy of the paper and I called the number and it was a answering service for a pet rescue. At 8:00 tonight they called me back, my made sure it was my dog,and met me back up at Petco. We were reunited, and it feels SO GOOD.
