On Sept 3rd 2010 Rocky crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. He had seizure and he was also having problems getting around and Friday he just could not stand up anymore. We could not let him suffer any longer. We thank our vet for being so gentle and caring. He will be greatly missed by all.

Grand Mal Seizure

Last night my mom and dad took me for a walk around the block. All was going good then it hit a grand mal seizure the first one in 2 years. My dad said I just got a scared look in my face then I dropped and started to seizure. My dad held my head and talked to me very soothing and my mom (poor mom she just had surgery) was also talking to me and petting me. It lasted about a minute or two after it was over I just layed there not knowing what had happened. My poor mom limped back to the house to get the car. But after 5 minutes of lying there I snapped out of it. I was confused as to what was going on. So my dad slowly had me start walking back to the house. My dad was so mad at the other humans a lot of cars drove by while I was having my seizure and not one person stopped to ask if we needed help. When my dad and mom got me home they watched me very carefully making sure I was ok. I still was confused as to what had happened and I was walking all over the house looking for something that was not there. I drank some water then layed down and took a short nap. I woke up and felt a little better but not a 100% my mom let me go into the backyard and she watched me like a hawk. Then it was time to go to bed and I slept the night away when I woke up this morning I felt so much better and my mom said I was acting normal. I just wanted my breakfast and to be let outside so I could talk to my friends next door.
