Arrival Story:
My wife resuced Sabastian from the shelter. He was the smallest dog in the cage but he fought off the bigger dogs so he could be close to my wife. He was abused and malnourished and just as mess. We took him straight from the shelter to the groomer. He had to be shaved bald because his fur was so matted all over his body.

Bio:
On Aug 27 2008 we had to put Sabastian Down because his diabetes got worse and his kidneys were starting to fail. We found out about his diabetes about 8 months ago when he just started to drink a lot of water and just peed everywhere. So we had to change his diet and give him insulin twice a day. About 3 months later he went blind. I think that hurt us more than it did him. He adapted to being blind we put a little bell on his girlfriend (Candy) and brother (Rocky) so he would know where they were. He used Candy as his seeing eye dog because he would follow her everywhere. When my wife came home from work he would be by the door ready to greet her with a song he would sing for a good 5 minutes. He would lay on the couch with me to get his daily petting. He was a great dog and he will be truely missed.
