 Quick Bio:
Likes: Being with her family! Playing with her big sister, Tia. She also loves to eat! Typical Dobie!

Pet-Peeves: Being left alone. Not being able to steal a toy away from her big sister (which she usually does!)

Favorite Toy: ALL of big sister Tia's toys!

Favorite Food: Nutro Max Natural Puppy Food. C O O K I E S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Favorite Walk: To the backyard to do her business and on walks with big sister Tia - she's a little trooper!

Best Tricks: Melting us with her cuteness! She already sits for a cookie and when it's time to put her leash on. Good girl Ellie!

Arrival Story: We decided to find a little sister for Tia since she recently turned a year old. Besides, I missed cuddling a pup! Ellie came into our lives and is a complete sweetie pie! Tia is doing real well with her. She thinks Ellie is her toy so we have to supervise them together. Ellie totally stands up for herself though!! We're looking forward to Ellie and Tia becoming best friends. It's nice to have two Dobies at home again!

Bio: Ellie Mae is our 4th Doberman. We can't say enough about how much we love this breed. They are the kindest, gentlest dogs, not to mention extremely loyal. It frustrates us to no end when we hear about people using this breed for selfish, unnecessary, violent, harmful acts. The saying "Punish the Deed. Not the Breed", is so very true. If you know of any individuals or groups treating ANY breed of dog inappropriately PLEASE report them to your local Humane Society or Animal Welfare League. It is up to all of us to protect abused and neglected animals.

Forums Motto: Lil' Sis Ellie Belly

Well, the wierdest thing happened last week. Dad dropped me off at the Vet's office (I heard Mom tell Dad that it's too hard for her to do it!) and I had to go in a dumb metal cage! Imagine that! Me in a cage!! Anyway......this really nice lady took me in a room with a big table and alot of shiny instruments. All of a sudden, she gave me something that made me VERY sleepy. The next thing I know, I wake up in that cage with a sore little tummy, a tube coming out of my leg and I'm REALLY GROGGY! I had to stay in that dumb cage until later that day. The good part is that the ladies taking care of me are SO, SO nice! All of a sudden, someone takes me out of the cage and then - YIPEE!!! - it's my Mom and Dad picking me up!! I've never been so happy to see them!!!
I'm not sure what happened to me, but I did hear Mom say something about no puppies for me?!
Thanks for sleeping with me that first night Mom! I love you too!
Oh, it's so good to be back home with my Mom, Dad and Tia.
Now, where are those cookies??

The wierdest thing happened today! Mom put up a big 9 foot tree in our family room today! After that, she put all kinds of pretty hangy things on it! There's even one with my name on it! I'm really confused. Why the heck would she do that??? To make matters worse, when I go over to this big crazy tree she tells me 'NO"! The good thing is that she says I'll have some new toys wrapped up in pretty paper under the tree pretty soon. My sister, Tia, says to not worry my pretty little head over this. She said that it will all be worth it! Well, off I go to try and sneak one of the pretty hangy things off of the tree. Wish me luck!!!

"She is your friend, your partner,
your defender, your dog.
You are her life, her love,
her leader.
She will be yours,
faithful and true,
to the last beat of her heart.
You owe it to her to be
worthy of such devotion."
