Arrival Story:
My Mom found a breeder nearby. My sister, the one they wanted first from looking at our pictures, was way too hyper and fat. But I was perfect because I was calmest and smallest. I tried to escape when they opened the gate, but they still decided to take me home. My pouty bottom lip is one of my cutest features, even though the breeder said I would get points taken off for that if I wanted to be a show dog. I was a little freaked out so I sat in my Mom's lap the whole way home and was very sweet.

Hello! I'm sorry it's been so long since I've written! Mommy, Daddy and I packed up alllllll of our things, put it all in a big truck and drove down to Fort Myers. When the ride was over, Mommy and Daddy put everything that was in the truck into a nice big house....with a fenced backyard for me!!! I was so excited. No more leash when I have to go outside. Mommy and Daddy play fetch with me and let me go wild. I also have really cool friends to play with here. Zeke, my cousin, comes over all the time and we run around like crazy dogs. My Uncle Matt also visits me here, too! I'm so happy that I have all of this space now!

Since I am turning one next week, Daddy invited a couple of my friends to the park and had a birthday party for me! It was so much fun. We got to play in the water and wrestle in the sand. My friends Ollie and Alexis and I ran and ran. Mommy brought special birthday cookies for us too.....yummmm, yummm! I even got presents! I had no idea that birthdays were this fun!

I'm so embarassed that my mom posted the picture above with me and my friend "Search and Rescue Dog" kissing. I do love him, though. We always watch tv together on the couch and snuggle. He's the only one of my friends that has all of their ears, paws, and tail left. I wish he was a real dog so we could play games together. Maybe one day Mommy and Daddy will get me a friend for real!
