Crawling up on my mommy's head when she lays down; chewing on my boney; getting treats; stealing socks, slippers & other contraband, doing "puppy zoom zooms" (running around the house like crazy), sitting on my "throne" (my favorite chair in the den)
Pet-Peeves:
going outside when it rains; haivng to wear stupid devil horns for Halloween or reindeer antlers for Xmas
Favorite Toy:
My boney, of course! Also: whoobies (i.e. squeaky plush toys) and my crate blankey, which I like to tousle with
Favorite Food:
Anything (especially peanut butter, though)! Except popcorn, which is tough for me to chew (I have a little mouth!)
Favorite Walk:
Pretty much anytime you get out the leash I get excited; doesn't matter where I'm going!
Best Tricks:
I will occasionally sit for a treat, but I have a hard time keeping my pug-butt down to the ground
Arrival Story:
We got Pugsley in the summer of 2003 when his previous owners had to give him away b/c they were moving. We really lucked out- Pugsley is a handsome, playful, yet delightfully naughty pug & we love him lots!
Bio:
Pugsley lives with Phoebe, a black lab mutt. They get along well and LOVE to wrestle. They rarely get into fights- they'll even lick from the same bowl. However, Phoebe has been known to hump Pugsley on occasion! Clearly, she's Alpha Pup. Pugsley also HATES getting off his "throne" (i.e. his favorite chair) and will frequently stay on it to spite Phoebe (who also wants ownership of "the throne" badly). Whenever guests come over he frequently reaches for his crate blankie (which he drags around the room) or a pillow (which he tousles with). He has been known to grab on to contraband items, wait for you to look at him, *then* start the chewing. We think he only does it for the attention ;)

Hi guys!!! Lately the weather has been much nicer, so my human-sister, Robin, & her boyfriend have been taking me & my dog-sister, Phoebe out for walks around the block & to the park. I love it there! Everyone always looks @ me b/c I'm just so cute, and sometimes people come up & pet me, which I love. Unfortunately I have a bad habit of jumping up on people, and getting my muddy little paw prings on them! I can't help it; I'm just a pug!
Recently my human-sister has been reading a few books on dog behavior- one book said that dogs like to sit on a high spot, so they can survey everything going on around them- maybe that's why I like to sleep on everyone's head & on top of the couch!

Hi everyone! Lately my mom has been looking at (gasp!) non-pug pages on dogster! She is now a fan of French bulldogs, Boston terriers, and Cavelier King Charles Spaniels. I think she has a thing for dogs w/smooshed up faces! She promises she loves me lots & could never replace me, though.
For the past 3 months she's been telling me we're going to go to the dog park to meet up w/all the other pugs, but we haven't gone yet! I think it is b/c mom is too tired to get there @ 11 am on Saturdays. But I'm up by 8 am, so I don't see why we can't go! Mom says she wants me to socialize with other pugs, something about meeting others in my own class/social standing, etc. Still, I love to meet all dogs- I'm not picky.

Hi guys! Well, it's January, and you know what that means- SNOW! In NJ where I live, we recently got dumped w/several feet of snow. While it's fun to catch snowballs, I do NOT enjoy having to go out there in the freezing cold just to 'do my bidness', as they say. My dog-sister, Phoebe, LOVES going outside- especially to eat the birdseed that my grandma puts out. (Are you wondering if I eat the birdseed? Puh-leeze! I'm a pug, not a dumpster dog like Phoebe!) On these cold winter days I like to stay inside, curled up on someone's lap (anyone's lap... I don't care who. I'm kind of a pug-whore in that respect). And I know that if I look reaaaaaally cute, I can get an extra peanut butter biscuit.
