Arrival Story:
When we first moved from an apartment to a house we got a dog. Turns out Sherman was really bad at being alone so we headed t the pound. Nigel was in the kennel, tearing up an old dress. We fell in love.

Bio:
When we got Nigel we were told he was a bullmastiff, labrador mix - turns out he was a pit bull (or staffordshire terrier - I don't know enough to know the difference). We weren't really concerned. We took him to training and he was great and we took him to the dog park at least once a week. He was always the party dog that had to talk to everyone. Then at about 20 months some switch went on that said he had to be super protective of everyone and everything about his family but only to other dogs. He is terrific with people -- a big love that just wants to be cuddled - but horrible with dogs he doesn't know. We are working on that now.
