Arrival Story:
We saw Bullmastiffs in person at the dog show in San Francisco several years ago andmy husband fell in love. He bugged me for one repeatedly and I always said no. We already had two dogs and three was way too many - especially a giant.
We would get calls from the breeder when they had new pups and finally, when they had two left because no others qualified to own them - I gave in. We were trying to have a baby at the time and I knew if I didn't say yes then - I would be stuck with chasing around a year old child and a six month pup!
My husband brought Ducky home the next day and I tried very hard to not fall in love. It took him a while to develop his personality but man - did he every turn out to be a great dog. He decided that because I was the one taking him outside to do his business that I was obviously the gameskeeper and he would follow me to the ends of the earth.
Bio:
Murdock is the biggest loveable lug. He lives for pets, love and food. He's great when our six month old teething baby is hanging from his jowls and biting his ears.

I got tagged twice - by Diesel (Big D) and by Stonehill's Action Jaxson!!
Here are the rules: When you are tagged, you post 7 random facts about yourself, compose a "new diary entry" along with the rules and put them in your own diary, so others can follow them. Then you pick 7 furs (kitties or doggies) to tag but make sure you tell them. Here are my 7 fun facts:
1.) I am a rock star - plain and simple.
2.) My favorite person on earth is my boy (3yr old Ian) - I will listen to him better than anyone else and follow him to the end of the earth.
3.) Mom is terrified of Golden retrievers so when we go to the dog park - if a golden tries to come up to her - I stand between her and the dog to keep her safe.
4.) Mom and Dad call me the princess and the pea because if there is the slightest crease in the sheets - I cannot lay on the bed.
5.) I like plush toys and will hug them and love them forever except that my brothers tear them up to make me sad.
6.) I am cross eyed but on me - it's wonderful.
7.) I hated apples until I went to the local apple festival and tried the local, fresh off the tree varieties. I don't hate them - I am an apple snob.

They did it again - dressed me up for halloween. This year, I was to match the boy. He was going as a brave and handsome knight and I was his faithful stead. This would be prefect since he loves to ride me abyway.
Plans changed. I ended up being a dragon for the brave and handsome knight to slay. Of course, I did get to go trick-or-treating and everyone loved me as much as boy but why they insist on humilliating me...
