Arrival Story:
We rescued Rain from neglectful owners when she was about 18 months old. They had her chained to the side of a fence with no shelter, toys, or interaction. Her chain collar was so tight it had to be removed with bolt cutters. She was one and a half years old, and only weighed 30 pounds - once she reached a healthy weight, she weighed 60! She was a sweet, beautiful girl, and rewarded me with years of love and happiness for her rescue.

Bio:
Rain was my constant companion for 12 years and best friend through some difficult times. She climbed mountain trails in Colorado, played in the surf in San Diego, chased cows through a pasture in Nebraska, and was at our wedding in Florida. She is missed more than words can say.
