 Quick Bio:
Likes: Having your finger rubbing the inside (like the real inside) of his ear, it's his favourite, YUCK!

Pet-Peeves: Having to sleep anywhere alone, and not on a bed.

Favorite Toy: Stuffed animals, a stick (one certain stick) and a rope bone. He hates Kongs and it blows my mind.

Favorite Food: Bosc Pears according to his previous owners, however he is like a vacuum cleaner and you need to watch him carefully as he can reach all counters, the stove, highchairs, without even stretching.

Favorite Walk: Caesar was raised in an apartment, so anywhere his daily walks take him absolutey thrill him. We take him out on the trails, to the local dog park (ha local.. an hour drive) and to the big park/stream out back.

Best Tricks: Caesar had never learned anything other than "sit" but he sure is great at manipulating with his big soulful eyes, and is slowly grasping some basics (lay down, stay).

Arrival Story: Caesar's family was looking for a temporary home for him after a divorce, and with him being 8 years old, were debating having him euthanized to avoid the trauma of him being placed in a shelter, as he had never been away from his family and dobermans are extremely loyal, "velcro" dogs. They were apprehensive sending him to be fostered with us, as he had never been around children (we have three under the age of 4, a 4 year old daughter, and 1 year old twin girls) or other dogs (we have two of those as well). We took him home anyway, and he immediately became very attached to our oldest daughter, Lily. Lily had always wanted a dalmatian, to be her fire dog (she plays firefighter all the time because her uncle is a firefighter) and Caesar immediately filled that position. They became such close friends and had such a strong bond, how could we not adopt him as the third dog in our family?

Bio: Caesar was diagnosed with Wobbler's a week after moving in with us, when he noticed he seemed very stiff in the neck. His family decided they did not want him back after this, and told us to put'em down. His pedigree states no Wobblers in their history, and he has no other symptoms, but regardless will be on cortizone and prednisone for a few weeks, it certainly doesn't slow down his spirits or zest for life... just makes his bladder the size of a pea and a lovely urine aroma in our carpet :)

Forums Motto: The largest lap dog.
