Arrival Story:
I found snickers while brousing the Human Scosiety website at the available dogs. She had only been there for three days, and at the time, I wanted a small dog. When I saw her, my heart melted, and I begged my mom to go see her. After about an hour playing with her, my mom called Dad. Dad didn't really care if we got a dog or not, so he left the disision on Chad, my brother. My brother had his heart clammed by the three year old too. So we adopted her without second thought.

Hikes, Abby, and my new foot thingie

Woof!

Abby came over to visit yesterday. I don't really like her being over, but there's some perks to it, I suppose. Like extra play time, walks, and getting to sleep on the bed, not in my kennle.

Anyway, we went on a hike today, and the whole three hours of it was fun. Mom's going to make a vido of it soon, so see
http://youtube.com/user/chunkymonkeysnickers
(my channel) to see it.

But soon after 2 hours and 45 minutes, my pad got torn on somthing, and I started to limp badly. I got to be carried back to the car, but my foot hurt really bad.

So Mom and alpha mom took me into the living room when we got home and brought out some bubbley stuff, poured it on my foot(which hurt reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllyyyyyyyyyy bad), and bandaged it up after putting some sort of ointment stuff. Now there's this huge wad of stuff wrapped on my foot, and it's really annoying. I want to tear it off, but they keep telling me not to. I suppose no more playing for a while. :(

Anyway, I'll try to keep updated. It's going to be looooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg..................... ..

Valentines Snow

Hi!

Today was (I think) Valentines day. Mom didn't wake up with the rest of the family. The Alpha dog came out after the Big dog, then the Boy, but Mom didn't come till around what the family calls nine o' clock. That's because she has Mono. Does any one know the scientifical term? I don't. But Mom has been feeling rather rotten, but today, I managed to make her smile and seem verry happy today by bringing her a chocolate bar Alpha dog told me to take her. I'm normaly not alowwed into the spare room, let alone on the bed, but I figured sence that's where she was and I'm not tall enough to just pick up my head to get it over the bed(hehee! That ryhmed!), so I jumped up a little to give it too her. Thankfully the wrapper was plastic and not paper. If it was paper, it would be melted with drool and I probably might have ate it if I couldn't open the door. After I got Mom out of bed, she ate the chocolate and left to the front grass. It snowwed last night, have I told you? And when she came back in, she had a few bowl fulls of snow. I looooove eating snow. Don't get me wrong, Mom gives me plenty of water, snow just tast better, and it lasts longer. I stayed in the middle of the kitchen and watched her pack the snow into a heart shapped ball on the counter. Sounds good, right? I had to wait a while as Mom put it on a "Banana scale"(she told me it weighed over two pounds!), then placed it on a teeny plate, and stuck it in the cold-box(though I think they call it a "Freezer"...). After about half an hour, she took it back out and gave it to me. It was the best valentines gift ever! But I hadn't gotten the whole thing yet. After I finished it(by then, it was noon), she gave me a little time to get over the cold-head thing, then she leashed me up with the extenda-leash, and took me out with her skateboard, and we ran for 25 minutes untill we got to the park. No one else was there because it was so cold, so she let me off my leash, and I got to run around just for joys for five extra minutes! When we finaly got home, we played in the backyard. I felt so jacked on sugar, but I hadn't had any! It was sooooo great. I'm tired now, and I want to go to sleep.

Happy Valentines day!

The Vole I Found Today...

I was sniffing around the Backyard like I'm sapposed to when the Girl(Harper) and the Boy(Chad) go off to this place called "School", and I go and,....You know....Mark my territiory, and as I'm sniffing around the Lamb's Ears plant and the giant clump of Chickweed, I can smell the vole that's been living there for about 2 days. But thistime, the smell was so strong, it made my mouth water. Just as I could feel it getting closer, the back gate openes and the Girl comes in, walking the big red thing with tiny tires. She smiles and askes what I'm doing, and I look back to where the vole stopped moving, and wagged my tail. She came over and told me to get it, you know, in that encouraging, playful breathy voice that makes you really want to do it, so I fox-pounced on it, and I cought it! It made me so happy, and the Girl laughed to! If she had her camera, I'm sure she ould have taken pictures, but she just got back from school.

After I decieded to eat it, though, I had it taken away from me...

But that's the vole I found today, and say a thanks to the Girl(Harper) for typing this for me. I know how to read, but I don't have any thumbs or long enough fingers to write this.
