Arrival Story:
Well, it's an interesting one. I was walking out of my class around 10:00pm and I saw this guy with this dog. I thought that she was cute but he said it wasn't his. I said she was very friendly and was playing with her for a bit. I didn't want someone to pick her up and make her aggressive so I called her and she came..hopped into my car. I was going to take her to the local Humane Shelter but they euthanized pit bulls. We ended up keeping her after trying to find her owner. Well about the last two weeks, she was suddenly getting bigger. My husband was in the state of denial about her being pregnant. I kept telling him that she is (I am mother, I should know). We finally took her to a vet and he confirmed that she is. Babygirl had 9 puppies but 7 survived. We ended up working with a rescue agency to help us adopt 6 of them. It was hard for us but we didn't have the time to dedicate to all seven.
