Arrival Story:
One day a woman approached me in a parking lot, and asked if I would like to adopt a dog. I already had three dogs, and I thought another would be too much. Still I took her in, hoping I could find a better home for Fiona somewhere with friends or family.
Of course within the first couple of hours of meeting Fiona, I knew she'd be a wonderful addition to the family, so I adopted her that day. And I think she's adjusting quite well to her new brother and sisters, as well as to myself.
Bio:
Fiona's a little ball of energy and I'm so happy she's in my life. Unfortunately, she's suffered a number of setbacks, adjusting to a new home, and she's gotten really sick multiple times.
Actually initially when I brought her home, i noticed she was running a high fever and had some sort of eye infection, so I immediately took her to the vet and got that treated. Then she came down with some sort of digestion issue, and she's had to go in to the vet a little too much these days. But she's doing a lot better, and she's getting a lot bigger. We're hoping she won't need to go in anymore this year, as she's done with all of her vaccines and has had to deal with a lot of painful treatments.
