Bubba loved to go for walks and play with our children; even our daughter who was 6 monts old at the time.

He loved any toy given to him.

He loved to walk to the park with either just me or while pushing my baby in the stroller.
Best Tricks:
He didn't learn any tricks, but knew to sit on command. Bubba could be let off his leash and would stay right by my side.
Arrival Story:
My husband and I have both always like german shepherds, and also wanted a companion for our lab, Buddy. So we decided to try and find a shepherd that would be good with our kids, as well as our other dog.
A family that had two german shepherds, Bubba and his father, contacted me, so I went to look at the dogs. Both were as sweet as could be, but I could only have one. I decided to take Bubba, who was still a 10 month old pup.
Getting our new dog home was a bit tough, since he'd never riddin in a car or been on a leash much. But that all soon changed and he was able to be trained very quickly.
Bio:
Our sweet Bubba came down with a blood decease on June 16th, 2008. We didn't know it was a blood decease. He started out by not eating his food one day, and became very sluggish the next. We thought it may have been worms, but we wormed him and our other dog every month. On June 18th, Bubba wouldn't move at all, so we rushed him to the vet. The doctor found blood in his lungs and bouls. She said that it was a blood decease and even if we would have detected it sooner, there wouldn't have been anything we could have done for him. Bubba died that day while at the vet at 9:13am. He was only a year old.
Bubba is very missed.
