The Life of A Yankee Namesake!

WHEW!!!!!

Thank goodness!!!!! I can't believe how confusing the last week has been. Last Monday, these three really big guys came in and TOOK ALL OF OUR STUFF!!!!!! Mommy said it was ok cuz they were taking it to our new house, so I didn't get too excited. It was boring but mom and dad were there with us so it wasn't too bad. But the next day..........what a bummer!!!!!

Mommy made me wake up before the sun even came out and said we were going for a ride. Still asleep and very confused, I hopped in the car with mom , while that cat got stuck in a bag and went with dad. I crashed out for a while, but when I woke up we were still driving and we just kept going and going and going!!!!!! Mom tried to make me feel better with an Egg McMuffin, and French Fries, which helped temporarily, but I was still totally bummed. Finally we got to some place that they said was a hotel, and we finally got to get out of that silly car!

To my disgust however, we woke up early again and got back in that car. I really HATE that car!!!!

But.......this time we got out at GRAMMA's!!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!! My friend Lacy was there and mommy's little neice! And sure enough..........the snow mommy promised was there too!! WHAT FUN!!!!!!! I guess Grammy & Grampy were away so I didn't get to see them. It was a blast hangin at grammy's. Alas...... two days later.......we were back in the stupid car :o( !!!!

So, after all this we finally got to what was supposed to be our new house in Boston. Did this mean I could finally get out of the car and play with my toys??? One would have thought so....... but not the case. Apparently there is something wrong with our new house and we have to go look for a new new house.

This has been such a crappy week! I just want to get out of the car, play with the cat, and snuggle with mom and dad. And finally the following Monday, we found our new new house!!!!!! Thank goodness!!!

So here we are Boston, and I couldn't be happier. We have a big apartment for me to wander around. There is snow EVERYWHERE to play in and I live right next to a cool park and a big river. Mommy and daddy seem to be happier too. The cat is still a little freaked out, but I am not sure she was right in the head to begin with.

What the heck???

Oh my goodness..... I have no idea WHAT is going on in my house! There are boxes everywhere, my toys are slowly disappearing, and I have no room to move. My mommy keeps telling me that everything is ok and we are going to be moving again!! I swear these people of mine can't stay in one place long enough for me to know where I am!!!

Anyway, from what mommy tells me, we are moving to a place called Boston, Ma. She claims they have snow there which is kind of exciting since this New Orleans heat is for the birds!!! For some reason, she seems to think that my friend Wallace will be there too. I am not sure how that is cuz I left him in Philadelphia, but maybe his mommy and daddy put him through this moving thing too! That will be cool tho if my buddy is there! I have missed him very much!!!!

I am not sure how much longer I have to deal with all this confusion, but I hope we get moved soon, cuz I want my toys back and if it's true that my pal is there...... I wanna go play!!!

Well, I guess that is all for today. I am sure there will be more excitement to come in my world in the next few weeks. Till then..... I think I am going back to bed!!!!!!!!
