Well -- not really but it is what mom and dad call my birthday because a year ago is when they adopted me and brought me home...
Wow -- I just cannot believe its been a year already....from living on the streets and sleeping wherever I could to being in a home, sleeping on a bed or couch and getting food anytime I want to...its amazing....
so I highly recommend adopting a do if you are looking for a new friend...its what saved me...

Ok…being a southern girl, I will admit that I did not get what all the excitement was when mom and dad were running around saying “ooooh its so pretty out – look at the snow!!!” snow?
Ok, now I had two questions –
one- what in gods name is that?
and two – can I eat it?
Well we went outside and I have to say…it was a little freaky ! All this stuff flying at me, it was cold and I was not sure if it was going to hurt me or not but I was not taking any chances so in the house I went !!!
It was time for the after-dinner walk and this snow stuff was still outside ! It was EVERYWHERE ! Mom and Dad kept saying “Be careful, there is ice” and I kept thinking to myself – “what is wrong with ice? I eat it all the time”. Well that ice that comes out of the big box in the food place and the ice outside are TOTALLY different !!!
The ice inside is nice and crunchy with a hint of clean…the ice outside is mean !!! I would just be walking and all of the sudden I would be on the ground !!! I didn’t even see anything coming !!!
But I have learned that snow will not hurt me…and, dare I say it, its rather nice to play in. I can run around really fast and then slide into it and its all fluffy and soft. A little cold, but still nice…
