Arrival Story:
Marely came ot us after months of searching. I had never had a dog before and thought (how much work can a dog be - little did I know). My husband has had dogs and knew the work all to well. So he set me on the impossible mission. "Find a female dog, under 6 months, black lab, that we can get from a rescue." I found Marley at a resuce in Ohio. She was given up for adoption by a family who had adopted her after finding out they could not have children. Well lo and behold as soon as they got her the woman got pregnant but could not hve a hyper lab jumping all over her and had to surrender her. Marley flew to us on Delta airlines and has hated her crate ever since.

Bio:
We have had one letter from the family that surrendered her thanking us for taking her into a good home and we responded in turn.
