Arrival Story:
I decided I wanted a dog, so I started researching different breeds. After tons of questions and months of research, I made up my mind that I wanted a Shih Tzu. I scoured the area for a rescue, stalked petfinder and craigslist, only once to find a Shih Tzu. The one dog I found was at a rescue, and they wouldn't adopt to me because I have young children. So I started looking for a breeder, and found one that just had a litter! I was able to go see the little ones when they were only a few weeks old and picked out my Libby! We were able to go see and play with her several times before we brought her home July 3rd 2008!
