My New Sister, Mady

Well, it's been 4 days now since Mady arrived at our house. I think she's super sweet and I keep trying to get her to play, but Olivia is sort of in the way. Mom and Dad are working with her, so it'll be soon that Mady and I can roughhouse and have tons of fun. Both of us like playing with stuffed toys, taking the stuffing out, so I can't wait to see what else we have in common. Having another big sister is cool :)

Simon, The Brave

I've been getting braver and braver as I now come to bed with Mom at night and enjoy playing with Daddy, which is something both of us never saw coming. I still am a little scared of him, but having Olivia and Mommy in bed too makes me feel safer. I even bark "Alert!" when someone is passing by outside on occasion, so Olivia isn't the only guard dog around here ;)

I'm trying to teach Olivia how to howl, as she just barks in a high pitch for now. Mommy LOVES my howl! I'm so handsome when I how :D

SNOW!

Yes! It finally came! Olivia and I got to play in the first snow of the year and boy, does she love it as much as I do! We raced around and around and around in the yard! I just love to eat the snow too, since it seems to taste something like the water Mom gives us every day.

Oh, and did I mention Mom took pictures of me and Olivia in our new winter coats? Mine is soooooooooo much cuter on me than Olivia's, but don't tell her that or she'll tear my coat apart for sure! Hee, hee!

Whoa, What Is That???

Apparently, Mom thought I needed some more training so she went out and bought this collar that has some BITE to it! OMG, what was she thinking??? Yes, I know I need to listen more to her but mannnnnnnnnnnn, I wasn't ready for this!

Daddy tried to teach me today and while I fought him a bit, I did manage to let down my guard a little bit. I know that in time I will be a better dog for Mom and Dad.

A few days ago they got some new furniture for the living room, and I have to say it's great to be able to lie on the couch with Olivia and Mom. We can look out the window to see who is coming, watch the birds and squirrels at the birdfeeder and just plain ol' hang out together. All it needs is some fun chew toys and it will be perfect ;)

Dress Up???

Apparently Mom enjoys this thing called "Halloween" and apparently it entails children and adults dressing up in costumes and "somehow" she has the notion that Olivia and I should dress up. C'mon, Mom! How am I supposed to impress the gals if I dress up like a frog? Okay, so the Princess kisses the frog and he turns into a Handsome Prince, but I'm already ADORABLE! Yes, I enjoy giving kisses and I jump out of the bushes to surprise Mom, but still....

I heard that at least Olivia gets to look pretty as a pixie. How come the girls get the better costumes? I know there are some more "stylish" costumes for us guys who want to impress the girls. What about the pirate costume? I can already say "Grrrr" so now all I have to do is add a little bit more so that it comes out as "Arrrrrr!" LOL

There's still time to change Mom's mind, so I'll just have to use my adorableness to let her know what costume I have in mind ;)

Dog Park? YESSSS!!!

Every day that Mom has off from work we get to go to the dog park, and I can't wait for those days! I LOVE getting to meet other dogs and wrestling with young ladies! I just love to run and see how fast I am against dogs bigger than I am!

Olivia doesn't like to play with me so much, but Mom takes time every day to play in the backyard with me. Going to the dog park lets me run loose and enjoy being myself. I'm a lover, but I'm also a free spirit that loves to go to places that let me be a dog.

Mom is thinking of taking us to a new dog park today, for variety, so I wonder what it will be like? I bet there will be some cute female dogs there to meet.

*looks at clock* Is it time to leave for the dog park yet?

What a Day!

Today I got to enjoy going to the dog park and boy, were there lots of dogs to sniff! I got to wrestle with a young girl named Lucy and almost had to defend myself against an older girl named Ophelia that is a regular to the park. She thought I was getting too rough with her pit bull companion, Oscar, but we fellas knew it was just good ol' boys having fun. I had so much fun running around and playing that it's time for me to go to sleep now, soooooo....zzzzzzzzzzzzz
