Arrival Story:
We adopted Miss Minni from the Humane society and don't really know for sure how old she is. She's come a long way from the scared standoffish little girl that we first brought home. She's learned that she gets a treat when she comes in from outside after going potty and doesn't have so many accidents. She has learned that she needs to go on the potty papers so it's easy to clean up. She picked this all up on her own. She doesn't have any trouble going down the steps but has trouble coming back in so I go pick her up and bring her back in so that she can get her treat. She had been malnurished when we got her but is now eating well. We had to have her teeth cleaned right after we got her and now her teeth, the ones she has left are pearly white. She's really a little sweetheart and has learned that we will not hurt her or chastise her when she goes off the potty paper. Sometimes she misses. She is partially blind and deaf but she copes very well.
