Sweet Like Toffee

My first Christmas

The day after I turned 6 months old, everyone in the house went into a frenzy in the kitchen. All the scents coming from there drove me crazy! There's this huge bird my family calls a turkey that was being cooked in the oven... then loads and loads of yummy fruits and vegetables...

And then a lot of people started coming over and eating. I managed to steal a yummy turkey bone from someone's plate. And a cherry too! Ooh, yummy!

But I didn't really like it when mummie put on the little red santa hat on me. I just sat upstairs in my bed while everyone partied downstairs. Later, daddy took it off and I was off again partying with everyone. Boy, was I tired after that!

A Beachy Day!

Mummie took me to the beach on Saturday. I didn't know where she was taking me in her car. I'm not very fond of long car rides, especially in the hot afternoons. I sat underneat her seat and got stuck. I didn't realise I'd grown too big for the seat. But she & Aunty Sharon helped me out.

After two hours of bumps and whirrings, the air turned salty. Where were we? It was sandy and the water was so salty. But mummie took me on the beach and i could run free! I love the water! *bounce*bounce*splash* I couldn't stop running about and sniffing out all the cool new things. I even ate a prawn!

*wooff* It was a barking great day! I wanna go again, mummie!
