Arrival Story:
I adopted Plato a little over a year ago. He had been at the rescue for a year. He and his brother were sent to the rescue when there owner passed away. Because of there age Sacrotise did not do well with the transition and left Plato to run with the big dogs in heaven. Plato came to me with chronic diaharrea. I have take him to the vet numerous times and they can't find the problem with out extensive procedures that are not only costly but not recommended for a dog of his age. In December last year he was in really bad shape. Didn't want to play, no energy. The outlook wasn't good and my vet recommended that we put him to sleep. This little man had become such a big part of my life that I wasn't ready to do that. He was not in pain. I talked to everybody about the situation. Finally one of my customers recommened a dog food by Canine Caterers. Best stuff ever!!!!! You can know longer see every bone in Plato's body. He has a little tummy and more energy than you would expect from a dog that is 14 years old. He wants to play all the time. He still has bouts of diahrrea but for the most part just soft stools. Needless to say the last time I had him at the Vet they were very surprised.
