Best Tricks:
We taught him how to say Please for his treats - We also taught him how to open the door, from the outside, and once he was inside to go behind the door and shut it.

Arrival Story:
We wanted a dog, and we wanted to get a large dog. My fiance' wanted a boxer & I didn't care. So we saw this ad in the paper for boxer puppies and drove over an hour away to go look at them. I told my fiance' that he could make the decision & I stayed in the car while he went in to look at him. My fiance' said that he was asleep in this huge bed all by himself, as all the other puppies had been sold. He brought him out to the car to show me, and it was LOVE at first sight. They had named him Ox, cause he was the largest of the litter. And it turned out that he ended up being over 100 lbs at one point but he mostly stayed around 90 lbs or so. BIG BOY! We renamed him Buster because, of course, he's a Boxer and Buster Douglas was the only fighter at the time to have defeated Tyson...

Bio:
Buster is no longer with us. We put him down Sept. 2003. He was slowly but unfortunately, losing his battle with cancer. We had discussed putting him down when the time came, but the night it became apparent that something must be done, he couldn't even lay down. It was sad, but inevitable, although I have to say that doesn't make it any easier. Even more than a year later I still find myself sitting here crying telling this story. Buster was an AMAZING dog. And not only a dog, a family member that we deeply miss!!!!!
