Likes:
Digging in the garbage can, licking your face when you are trying to sleep, begging for food. I absolutely LOVE the ocean and river. I also like chasing my tail for attention and dragging mommy down the walkway.

Having to do a trick just to get a treat and not being able to sleep in the human bed

My teddy bear that I stole from mommy, hehe

Pizza, Del Taco french fries, Natural Balance pure lamb treats

Mt. Pisgah and Hendricks park, walks around the block

Speak, Shake, sit, sit pretty, eyes (where I look mommy right in the eyes so she knows I have her attention)

Arrival Story:
Freckles came to me from a lady in the same town as I who had bred her Purebred Labrador female to a mixed breed male. They were having trouble placing a few pups so I decided to take Freckles and her brother home with me. I did not pay for the pups as I did not want to support their backyard breeding but I did want to help the puppies. I figured I would keep one of the puppies and it was determined that Freckles would be the one. Since we were in an apartment and had a small child we chose the most docile of the two pups. Freckles brother went to live on a farm so he could satisfy his desire to herd things, and has a wonderful brother who is a full Lab. They have not seen eachother since, which saddens me but hopefully soon we will have the chance to reunite these two pups. Despite the fact that Freckles and her brother were seperated she has made friends with many other pups along the way. She absolutely adores other dogs! Freckles is definitely my girl. I cannot explain to you how deep my love is for her. She has helped me through some very rough times in my life and she is always there to lend her ear or paw. Freckles is the first dog I have had in a few years, and the first puppy I've ever had! We had tried taking in an older rescued puppy once before but that didn't quite work out. I was determined that this second time would work, no matter what I had to do. Puppyhood is such a hard thing to go through but looking back on the past few months it was most definitely worth every penny! :)

Bio:
We took Freckles in at a very early age, around 5 weeks so I am most definitely considered "mom" to her. She was born in April 2004, so is still a pup with lots of energy! Some people think she has some Great Dane in her. What do you think?
