My 6th Birthday

Mom can't believe I am 6 already but I turned 6 this past Sunday. I got my first NY strip steak in order to celebrate - it was great. I ate it really fast, but only got a little at a time so it was ok. I hope I get more steak next year!

Geez, Rat Poison Isn't Good For You.

Well, let's start with the fact that I am ok. I went to help mom out with laundry and some person had left rat poison out where I could find it. It's really tasty and was hidden from sight so mom didn't realize what I was up to. Luckily she quickly realized I wasn't feeling so well afterwards and took me to the ER (we luckily live right near Cornell Vet School). All her friends have been helping out by watching me but all I've wanted to do is sleep. I'm finally feeling better and even wanted to go for a walk today (mom wouldn't let me go far though). Still, why make it blue and tasty if you aren't suppose to eat it. Mom is really glad a kid didn't find it first and she cleaned it up and let management know. Guess I'm not going to get to try it again. I've enjoyed all the extra cookies during the last few days; think that they'll keep coming now that I feel better?
