Best Tricks: Sit, stay, recall and down
Arrival Story: My neighbor had her mother and I admired her so much that when she had a litter, I was given Miss Sophie. Sophie almost died from a ruptured vein in her neck when she was 6 weeks old. She had transfusions and then surgery, but as you can see, she is now one healthy girl. Her mom and 2 sister and brother live next door. They peek through the fence, cause she is one spoiled GSP.
Bio: Sophie has been through Advanced Obedience, received her Canine Good Citizenship and is waiting to test for Therapy Dog. She sleeps in bed, under the covers and she is one loving dog. I am sooooo lucky to have her.
Time sure has gone fast! I can't believe that today I celebrated my 9th Barkday. Mom posted two pictures of my yummy birthday cake, it was peanut butter with honey and cream cheese frosting and it was yummy. Of course I did share it with my little brother, Harley Davidson and mom is taking some next door to my momma and sister and across the street to a Chocolate Lab and Great Dane. She is freezing some of it for later. I want to thank all of my pals for the pretty rosettes and Birthday wishes. I hope I haven't forgotten anypup. Big thanks to the following:
Tessa & Fitzcairn
Austin and Doo
Flicka and family
Hershey and Winkie
Duncan and Hamish
Sammy, Toby, Cory, Joey and Sarge
Angel Sunny and Zane
C&D Cruise Lines for my cake.
What great pals I have made on this Dogster thing and I lubs all of you!
Big thanks to Denise, Chuck, Ellie and Murphy for my Birthday card in the mail.
Well, first of all, I gots in big troubles last Tuesday! It was raining and mom looked up and couldn't find me in the house. She looked out the back door and there I was digging a hole to China by the fence. First of all, I don't like the rain. I saw momma and she had a bad look on her face so I ran like the wind, through the doggy door and all over the house! The little problem was that I was covered in MUD! Oops, she finally caught me and we both went out in the rain as she tried to get me cleaned up. I went to doggy jail in my crate while she mopped, wiped and shampooed everything all clean again. Then Thursday I had to go to the vets (I love going to my vets) for my bordatella, heart worm test, pedicure and to have a lump checked on my chest. Well let me tell you, they all love to have me there! Dr. Josh came in the room and I just melted right into him as he sat on the floor and gave me tons of sugar. I held very still while he took my blood and then took a needle and aspirated my lump. Good news, my lump is just a fatty lipoma! Then the girls took me back for my pedicure and mom could hear all the staff back there petting me and I was a good girl again. Peggy held me while mom paid the bill and all the people in the waiting room watched me prance out to the car.
