Favorite Food: Victor grain free kibble, apple, banana, watermelon, blueberries.
Favorite Walk: In the neighborhood
Best Tricks: Sit, stay, recall and down
Arrival Story: My neighbor had her mother and I admired her so much that when she had a litter, I was given Miss Sophie. Sophie almost died from a ruptured vein in her neck when she was 6 weeks old. She had transfusions and then surgery, but as you can see, she is now one healthy girl. Her mom and 2 sister and brother live next door. They peek through the fence, cause she is one spoiled GSP.
Bio: Sophie has been through Advanced Obedience, received her Canine Good Citizenship and is waiting to test for Therapy Dog. She sleeps in bed, under the covers and she is one loving dog. I am sooooo lucky to have her.
I want to thank Dogster for naming me Dog of the Day yesterday, it was a great honor! Also Thank You to all of my pals for sending pictures and rosettes. It sure made me feel special. I hope I haven't missed anyfur.

Well furs, the stay at the Pet Resort was pretty cool and they said we were very well behaved! Mom and our skin sis came and picked us up this past Thursday and boy were we happy to see them. We went to this strange house and started sniffing around. We have a big back yard and guess what? I have my very own pond!!!! How cool will that be this summer. Mom here: Sophie is adjusting quite well but Harley is having a difficult time of it. He has however a safe room (his crate) in my office and when it becomes too much for him he goes and gets in his room. I think once all the workman are finished HD will settle down. Sophie is waiting to see her first squirrel in the back yard and I did see a bunny scoot out from under the storage shed. We will be on and off the internet as this coming week more workman will be here.
We all know that when Say Media bought Dogster/Catster that things began to change and not in a good way, but we all hung in there because of all the wonderful friends we have made through the years and all over the world. We know and understand the great love we have for our furry friends and have always had the support and understanding from everyone. We have all laughed and cried together through good times and bad and for this I am so very thankful to all of you. Where will be all go? I know that a lot of you are on FB and we will be able to stay in touch with each other but for those of you who choose not to go to FB, I would love to have your emails so that these friendships will continue. There is no other network that I have found where we can continue this type of being together. Sorry Say Media, but I really don't give a rip about your magazine!
